About PRISM:
People want to express themselves and be understood. The PRISM method acts as a catalyst to focus conversations, deepen their content quality, and improve mutual understanding. This happens in a guided process that structures a conversation in such a way that feelings can be externalized in an explorative way, mapped as closeness to the self, discussed and better understood by a third person.
Thanks to the PRISM method, the individual perception of the relationship to objects and persons is transformed into a neutral visual representation. With PRISM it is possible to make feelings conscious and externalize them. This makes it possible to discuss the subject specifically with a counterpart, to exchange different perspectives more easily and to develop new approaches. Unconscious connections in the person concerned and in the other person are thus uncovered in the conversation and alternatives can be consciously thought about.
With the PRISM method, one learns to evaluate relationships quickly and safely using a few structured questions, to measure and quantify the closeness/distance of an object to the self, and to track the development over time.
To overcome a painful condition and feel better, it helps to change your relationship to it. Heraclitus recognized this as early as 5 century BC.
Validated procedures are available for professional applications in the field of health care, psychotherapy and human resources.
